Quortex accelerates innovation and the transition to IP at IBC 2026

AMSTERDAM (IBC 2026 stand 1.D52) 3rd September 2026 - Quortex today announced that it will showcase how it is accelerating innovation and the transition to IP at IBC 2026. The company will debut its newest intelligence tool: AI Skills and highlight its award-winning, end-to-end portfolio of video distribution, processing and streaming solutions.

Building on its strong portfolio, deep expertise and exceptionally loyal customer base, Quortex’s products and services are focused on making video workflows smarter, simpler and more efficient. This includes embedding intelligence into every layer of video distribution, processing and delivery. With support across cloud-native, hybrid and on-prem environments, Quortex will showcase how it helps customers meet their evolving video network needs with solutions that streamline operations and optimize video at every stage.

Elke Hungenaert, Head of Products at Quortex, commented, “Operators ask us for efficient and elegant solutions that feature fewer moving parts, lower cost per stream, and a clear path to IP. They also want to monetize rapidly, without a re-architecture to do it. At IBC we're showing how we make this possible: with intelligence embedded across distribution, processing, and delivery, and the operational expertise to support customers through their transition. We are moving on all of it faster with our renewed focus, delivering swifter results for customers.”

Following the launch of just-in-time AI capabilities through AI by Quortex, Quortex is today announcing AI Skills. This tool allows software developers to configure Quortex SaaS products using AI instead of manual code development. By understanding Quortex APIs, AI Skills makes the coding agents more accurate and knowledgeable. It allows operators to easily develop automatic scripts for custom needs, such as a script to analyze billing trends on a specific usage or produce daily reports in different languages.

Demonstrations at IBC will span the full Quortex portfolio: distribution and contribution with PowerVu, MEG and Link; processing and origination with vDCM and Play; monetization with Tune; and delivery with Quortex's private Edge CDN and Switch. Together these run across cloud-native, hybrid and on-prem environments, powering premium broadcast and streaming video for more than 1,000 operators worldwide and reaching 120 million subscribers.

For the first time at IBC, Quortex will show solutions including Multiview and Tune. Multiview significantly reduces the cost of launching scalable, dynamic, consumer-selectable multiview experiences by eliminating the need for player integration or large-scale transcoding while Tune is a content substitution engine for live sports monetization at scale. Tune supports SSAI-based dynamic ad insertion and sports blackouts, with built-in analytics to surface monetization opportunities and is paving the way to SGAI-based workflows and channel origination for primary distribution.

With its focus on helping operators transition from satellite to hybrid and IP, Quortex will highlight how PowerVu is evolving into a hybrid distribution control plane to provide a single operational view across satellite, IP, CDN and emerging delivery networks. This enables customers to maintain control, visibility and security, simplifying migration while offering reliability and scale. Quortex will also showcase how MEG and PowerVu can adapt to any network configuration, including the Media over QUIC (MOQ) protocol, to offer features such as in-band metadata transport and a customized channel feed for each affiliate.

The stand will also feature demos from Quortex’s growing partner ecosystem including AWS, Castlabs, Imagine, InSync, Lingopal, Mux, Orange, Six Floor Solutions and Yuzzit.
